I apologize for the really rotten cellphone picture. I chose this piece specifically because of the bright beautiful colors. The picture being inside the silhouette of the eagle also struck me as being exceedingly cool. It used to be in a very nice frame until my greenwing macaw got hold of it. Sadly, she made short work of the frame, but the matted project itself is just fine.
This was the last time I have stitched anything on Aida cloth. I chose a lovely dark blue 18-count from Jo-Ann Fabrics. The picture area is roughly 8″ x 10″. The artist is Sally Smith, and the pattern was put out by Dimensions.
